Period Irregularity….?

Okay so I have a few questions so bare with me! To start off I have had my period for about one year and it is still really irregular. (I think the last time I had mine was about 5 months ago) Anyways I’m not happy with my body image at all and decided that I need to shed a few pounds. My plan is to go on a little diet and use a treadmill every day for about 1-2 hours. My overall question is, is this gonna screw up my period cycle any more since I might be changing the diet a little and losing a little weight?

You will be irregular, but if you dont do anything too drastic, like starve yourself, you should be fine. Usually your period takes a while to adjust and wont be regular for a couple years at the most. Just talk to your doctor if you have any questions.

It will definatley make u even more irregular if u dont diet correctly. You cant starve and eat nothing, u have to eat healthy and exercise healthy. If u want a normal period then maybe u should try birthcontrol pills.
    good luck

I dont think dieting will make much difference to your periods unless you diet until you are underweight with little to no body fat. Irregular periods will usually become regular in their own time , exercise and healthy eating is not going to change that.

dieting doesn’t affect your period unless you become anorexic or anemic.
Period irregularity happens to every woman now and then. Doesn’t mean anything except in the above cases.

First thing I suggest is be sure your pH is not acidic. Then have your prolactin level checked. Also, use a natural progesterone cream and chasteberry herbal supplement. I believe in trying natural alternatives first. From what I understand, when your pH is not where it should be, it is also harder to lose weight. Hope this turns out to be helpful for you.
