Would you stay in a guest house like this? Is a place like this crazy?

This is a portable garden shed guesthouse. I have thought about buying one of these. Does this little place look okay of wierd?

If you were inside sleeping at night would you close the door and windows?

Here are pictures?

I have never stayed in one of these. What would it be like to sleep in one of these?

If you have not noticed from the pictures once you close the door and windows you can’t see outside.

I have wanted a place like this for years. My concern has been that people will think I’m mentally crazy if I got one of these portable guest houses.

Because of the rough job market I’m almost 28 and living with my parents. Rents in my area are very high and I can’t move out. A onebedroom apartment goes for 00 a month or more.

My parents don’t give me any space even though I’m an adult. They can hear every phone conversation through closed doors and walls.

If I had one of these guest houses my parents would not hear my cell phone conversations.

A know females would think I’m crazy if I temporarily got a guest house like this in my parents backyard.

Even though it would be temporary even for a year a place like this would get rid of some of my depression.

If I lived in a guest house like this it would raise my self esteem.

Living inside my parents house doesn’t work for me.

The area of my parents house is a safe area.

I would much rather have an apartment. Sometimes we have to compromise and be flexible.

If I could afford my own apartment I would have gotten one years ago. An apartment would be my first choice.

In terms of a kitchen I could have a hotplate, microwave and a small dorm fridge.

I could use the restroom inside the main house.

Luckly enough I live in a climate where it doesn’t get colder than 50 degrees at night in January.

If you stayed in one of these would you close the door at night? If you have not noticed this little cabin does not have windows.

Where I live we don’t have ice storms. It doesn’t get freezing cold outside. The very coldest it gets outside is 50 degrees.

You can hook up electricity to this garden shed.

I thought of a very temporary solution to me moving out of my parents house. Building a garden shed.?

Even though this is very basic and silly I have thought about setting up a garden shed in my parents backyard that I could put a cott or bed in. This way I could have some privacy and space from my parents. My laptop has wireless internet. Since the wooden garden shed would have electricity I could pug in a electric portable heater.

The shed would have a concrete floor that I could put rugs on.

The only disadvantage to the shed would be no windows inside or restroom inside. I could go inside the restroom inside the house.

I’m not hand enough to install windows. The inside of the shed would have a wood panel wall and a door that is unpainted. To solve the window solution I could paint the inside of the door a color or design that is something nice to look at.

On thing that may bother me is closing the door while inside at night sleeping. I guess I could get over that.

My parents house is located in a very safe area.

The backyard is gated and fenced.

I’m in my late 20s. We don’t have a basement in our house. This garden shed has a locking door and is very hard to break into.

I could buy this camping tent heater to put inside a shed. It does not casue flames.

Where I live we have very mild winters. The coldest it gets is 60 degrees at night. Winds arent a paroblem. The shed could be insulated I guess.

Should I actually do this dream of sleeping in a garden shed some summer nights?Would a girl think I’m strange

For years I have had a dream of buildind or buying a garden shed to use as an art studio and on some nights acually sleep in. Even though I’m in my 20s my parents would still allow me to do this in their backyard. On some weekend nights I would sleep in the shed with my sleeping bag. I would get some time to myself and get an opportunity to read books alone while escaping TV,computer and radio.

Due to the size of the shed I would be unable to put in a restroom. The inside would look like a cabin with light borwn woodfinsh walls and a green door on both sides. The floors would be polished wood with rugs.

Several people who I have asked about this idea many times think its time to drop the idea and end the dream. Should I do this to get it out of my system or forget it?

Many girls laugh at this idea? My male friends think I"m crazy.

If I woke up in the middle of the night sleeping inside this garden shed with the door closed would I or any other person feel like they are trapped or in prison?

Should I build a garden shed to get some privacy from my parents?

I’m a male in my mid 20s living with my parents. Because of the tough economy I have a low paying job so I’m stuck living at home.

As a temporary solution I have thought about building a garden shed in their backyard. I would use it to sleep at night sometimes and sometimes a place to have some privacy. The shed would be small but have a door with a lock.

Some people think this is a cool idea while others think this is rediculus.
The shed would have a heater and a light but no restroom inside.

Renting out a garden shed for living purposes?

In my backyard in California I have a garden shed in my backyard that someone offered to rent out as a place to sleep. The garden shed doesn’t have a restroom and has no windows. The flooring is cement with rugs.It has electricity and a heater as well as a door with a lock. Is it illegal to rent out a garden shed? The person interested is a 20 year old girl.
The girl doesn’t cook. She claims that she can use the restroom inside the house.
I feel sorry enough for the girl that I would be willing not to charge her to live in the shed at all.
