Will osb plywood hold up to the weather if primed with and oil base primer?

Trying to build a small garden shed on a disabilty budget.

    It won’t last as long as other materials, but you can make a good run of it. Be very careful to coat the edges. That is where the break down of the material will occur the fastest.

    If you have enough paint, apply several coats. This will give you the longest life.

    It won’t. The chips will start to peel off. You can buy Osb siding that works well and its cheaper than other siding.

    It will rot away faster than plywood, but if you keep a good coat of paint on it, maybe 15 years.

    No, use cheap siding from Home Depot, I used it to build my shed.
